Dutiable Commodities Permit Service

As a leading value-added e-trading services company, Ge-TS electronic Dutiable Commodities Permit (DCP) service allows traders to apply for various types of DCP electronically. Types of electronic DCPs are:

  • Removal Permit for Duty-Paid Goods (Black Permit)
  • Removal Permit for Dutiable Goods (Green Permit)
  • Export Permit (Red Permit)
  • Ships' Stores Permit (Red Permit)

By using Ge-TS' DCP services, major players involved in the transaction of dutiable goods like traders, warehouse operators and logistics service provider are able to prepare, receive and submit DCPs to Government through our system.

Traders

  • Prepare Ships' Store Application, Code Application, Age Certificate, Customs Appointment, Query Response, Executed Permit Advice (EPA) and Payment Confirmation Advice to Government and receive response from Government through Ge-TS system
  • Oil and Beer companies can prepare daily pass/voucher notification through Ge-Ts system

Warehouse Operator

  • Receive and approve Permits, and submit the Executed Permit Advice (EPA) to Customs and Excise Department through Ge-TS system.
  • Prepare Warehouse Return

To cater for the various needs of the trading community, we provide customised solutions and a vast variety of services to meet your specific needs to streamline the business processes.

For traders who do not submit the documents electronically on their own, Ge-TS also provides service to covert paper submissions into electronic messages on behalf of traders for submission to the Government.

Service Hours

The official Government Electronic Trading Services (GETS) operating hours are 7:00am - 11:00pm, 7 days a week. In order to provide more convenience to our customers, 24-hour round-the-clock electronic submission service is provided by the Ge-TS platform. Any submission outside GETS operating hours will be stored by our system for onward transmission to the Government until after the resumption of GETS operation at 7am. Please especially note that dutiable commodities permit messages sent to us between 11:00pm and midnight will be timed as received by the government on the following day.

Starting from 1 July 2006, the ODCA service counter will operate on a 5-day week, Monday to Friday. For details, please refer to the announcement from C&ED or contact ODCA hotline 2852-3049.
